What Is Prayer?

Our Heavenly Father loves being with us and hearing what we have to say. And He delights in responding to us and showing us the way forward.

Prayer takes many forms

making our requests to Him
telling Him how we feel
just spending time with Him enjoying His creation
and listening to Him through various means
praising Him, thanking Him, adoring Him
getting together with other people to do all of the above.

"For where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, there am I among them." Matthew 18:20

We gather together to pray at Emmanuel at these specific times:

9.00am – Monday Mornings ONLINE (All are welcome)
6.30am – Tuesday Mornings ONLINE (All are welcome)
11.45am – Fridays ‘Packed lunch Prayer’ (All are welcome)
10.00am – Sundays before our service (All are welcome)

– follow the instructions to allow camera and microphone permissions, enter your name and then click the ‘knock’ button – there is no software to install and this system is designed to work on every device and all the main browsers on laptops, desktops, tablets and phones.

After the Sunday morning service, or in the weekly house groups there is always opportunity to pray with other church members and small group leaders

The Pastor and Elders are happy to pray with people on an individual basis where this would be helpful.
