Support for our Community together with CAP.

At Emmanuel, we are proud to offer a number of services that support our community, running these in partnership with award-winning national charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP). All of these services are provided free of charge and are open to all – people of any faith and none.

CAP Jobs Club

Our Job Club is part of a network of over 100 CAP Job Clubs across the UK. It’s a friendly place where you will get practical help as you seek employment, have the chance to meet other jobseekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work.

CAP Job Clubs have a national partnership with The Department of Work and Pensions (JobCentre Plus). This agreement recognises the invaluable service that Job Clubs offer to overcome major barriers to employment.

Our friendly local team include people who have years of experience in recruitment, have been trained to provide 1:1 coaching, and those who will welcome you and provide support as you work your way through the course.

We opened in February 2020. Since then, we have developed a close working relationship with the JobCentrePlus teams in both Falmouth and Penryn, and Helston. We are delighted that we have been able to help people back into work. We aim to run 3 x 6-weekly courses each year, subject to demand.

Check out the CAP Job Clubs website for more information and an introductory video.
